Microsoft PowerToys is a set of cool tools for Windows users who want to enhance productivity and convenience. With features that allow you to customize your system freely, PowerToys is an open-source software developed by Microsoft and can be downloaded for free on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Latest PowerToys Update: Command Palette Is Here!
The latest PowerToys version 0.90 comes with the new Command Palette, replacing the previous PowerToys Run. The Command Palette features a more modern interface and allows faster access to apps, commands, and tools.
How to Use It:
Press Win + Alt + Space (changed from the previous Alt + Space )
Supports running commands, opening folders, performing calculations, and more
Icons are available in both the Start Menu and System Tray for easier access
Although Command Palette still lacks some features, such as full SVG support or integration with Winget, it’s expected that Microsoft will improve it in future updates.
Peek Tool Improved
The Peek Tool allows you to quickly preview files (press Ctrl + Space), and with the latest update, you can now delete files directly from the Peek window, just like in File Explorer.
